  • CHROME BOOK ROLL OUT/SCHOOL INFORMATION

    Attached please find a letter from Mr. Cozzocrea, Principal with information regarding the school and the upcoming Chrome Book Roll out for our students.  There is a parent meeting on FEBRUARY 27th at 7:00 p.m. to provide parents more information regarding the chrome books.

    Attached please find the Community Service form for the 8th Grade Washington DC trip.  5 hours of Community service must be completed by March 1st.  The completed forms should be handed in to the Guidance Office.

  • PTO Spring After School Workshops

    The Mahopac Middle Schools PTO will be offering 8 weeks of after-school mini workshops this spring, all taking place at the school from 3:00-4:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted).  Each workshop is grade level appropriate and you may register your child for as many workshops that are offered for his/her grade level. Workshops begin in March and run through May. Please click on the attached document for more information on how to register.

  • CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST

    The Torch and Student Government will be running the 4th annual Creative Writing contest for all students in grades 6 through 8.  Stories should be limited to 1,000 words and any topic is acceptable.  Deadline for submission is February 23rd and stories should be turned into Mrs. Bronschidle in the library.  There will be gift cards for first, second and third place stories.

    Putnam County Youth Bureau is hosting their Pegasus program beginning on October 12.  This is a free confidential program for children ages 6-12 who have a parent or family member suffering from alcoholism or other drug dependencies.  See attached flyer for more information.
